of Dallas, TX. Susan “Sue” went home to Heaven Sunday, Aug 23rd after a brief illness.
Born in New Orleans, LA, Susan Marie Gremillion was the 2nd child born to James Otis Gremillion, Jr and Elinor Boudreaux Gremillion.
At the age of 11 she moved with her family to Dallas, where she lived for the rest of her life. She attended JW Carpenter and T W Brown schools, then graduated in 1974 from Justin F Kimball high school. She married young, and had 4 children.

Susan loved to cook. She was inspired by, and paid close attention to her “Grandma Gremillion’s” cooking as she catered weddings, etc and prepared many feasts for her family. This skill came naturally to Susan, and anyone who has ever known her will attest to her exceptional abilities in this area, as well as her love of sharing the delicacies she created. Susan was intelligent and talented, and she had an amazing ability to give “just the right gift”. Susan also had a keen sense of humor, and could “bring the house down” with her story telling.

Susan is survived by her four children, Wintress Minter (Rusty) of Midlothian, Corinne Zanella (Joel) of Waxahachie, Adam Reed of Dallas, and Amanda Mackenzie of Lamesa, TX. Also grandchildren Taylor Barocio (Jason), Whitley Minter, John Minter(Renee) Haven Minter, Payten Minter, Daiden Minter, Trenton Zanella, Trinity Zanella, Trace Zanella and Lucas Mackenzie, as well as great grandchildren,Hadley, Heartly, Penelope, Emmy, Waylon, Bexley, Izzy, and Libby. She is also survived by siblings Michael Gremillion (Rebecca) and Terry Bracken (Brett), and many extended relatives and friends.
Susan is predeceased by both her parents, brother James Clayton Gremillion, and husband Clay Moser.
