Stacey Michelle Tucker (Tucker) Obituary (1976

Stacey Michelle Tucker, born on December 27, 1976, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 47. She grew up in Midlothian, Texas, where she graduated from Midlothian High School. Stacey continued her education at the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelor's degree with honors, including being named to the Dean's List. In March 2000, Stacey began her successful career at Edward Jones Investments, where she served as a Senior Branch Office Administrator. Known for her organizational skills, "can-do" attitude, and dedication to excellence, she was a valued employee who mentored and trained her colleagues. Throughout her career, Stacey earned multiple Client Service Excellence awards, and she formed close bonds with her clients, many of whom became dear friends. Outside of work, Stacey was passionate about spending time with her family, caring for her cows, camping, and enjoying time at the lake. She also cherished quick trips to the casino with her loved ones and was known for her larger-than-life personality. As anyone who knew her could attest, if Stacey met you, you were instantly considered a friend, whether you liked it or not! Stacey was a member of FFA and attended Wagon Wheel Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. Stacey is survived by her son, Lane Woodard; her mother, Kathleen "Kathy" Tucker; her brothers, Brett Tucker (Debi), Bryan Tucker (Jessica), and Rodney Carter (Sharon); and her nephews and nieces: Jordan Tucker (Amanda), Cody Tucker, Lauren Woodruff, Mathew Jones, Mckensie LeFevre (Phil), Logan Daugherty and Kamber Carter, along with her great-nephew, Ford Tucker. She is preceded in death by her father, Randal Lynn Tucker, and her grandparents. To celebrate Stacey's life, a visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 5 to 8 in the evening at Midlothian Funeral Home. Parking is available along side of the funeral home on N 11th Street and E Ave F, as well as the Post Office or along Founders Row. A service Celebrating Her Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11 o'clock in the morning at First Baptist Church Midlothian, in the main Sanctuary, 1651 S Midlothian Pkwy, Midlothian, TX 76065. with Wayne Sheffield and Randy Kirk officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Lane Woodard, Jordan Tucker, Cody Tucker, Logan Daugherty, Don Jordan, Lucus Cornish and David Gober. Burial will follow the services at Shiloh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Stacey's memory to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation. The family also extends their heartfelt thanks to all the friends and family who have shown an outpouring of love and support during this time. Stacey's light, love, and infectious friendship will be missed by all who knew her.
