Samuel Clinton "Sam" Horton

–

Midlothian, Texas

Sam would like for you to know his work here is done. Please take this as his goodbye. He received an offer he couldn't refuse and couldn't stay another day. Perks include a reunion with family and friends he has missed for a long time. No worries about anything. He's on the most beautiful beach, the "salt life" finally his and the only clock is on "island time'. He will be fishing to his heart's content. He'll fire up the grill, prepare the crab and bake the cheddar cheese biscuits! He has all the time to explore, laugh and love, even sip a little Crown now and then. He loves all of you he leaves behind and doesn't want you to grieve for he's at peace. Celebrate each other and remember him as a good man, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.Survived by: Wife Cyndy Horton Children Christi Horton, Ben Horton and wife Chelsie, Rachel Rymer and husband Chris Grandchildren Michelle Whitworth, Damon Horton, Taylor Horton, Hunter Horton, Jaclyne Horton, Jacob Horton , Chase Horton, Autumn Rymer, Katy Horton, Alex Rymer, Brenden Horton, Aurora Rymer Great grandchild Sam Horton (Little Sam) Sisters Peggy Bustos and Ann Groux Sam had already planned on having friends and family at Kimmel Park on Monday so we decided to stick with that plan for the reception following the service.
