Midlothian, Texas
Rebecca "Becky" Ovington, loving wife, mother, sister, cousin and friend went to her heavenly home on October 31st, 2018. Becky was born and raised in Grand Prairie on November 9, 1951, to parents Robert Sterling Golden and Betty Marie Clary. Becky lived in Grand Prairie until she moved with her husband, John, to Midlothian, where they built their home together. Becky and John married on March 24, 1984. John was Becky's soul mate and she made sure that everyone knew how much she loved John. They took their vows to heart, always supporting and taking care of each other through sickness and health. They welcomed their daughter, Lindsey, on December 5, 1988. Becky and John also gained a son, on October 23, 2010, when Lindsey married her husband, Stephen Zambrano. Becky was selfless, kind, loving, thoughtful and an angel overall. Becky was the kind of woman who would give you the last dollar she had, while she gave you the clothes off of her back. Becky never met a stranger. If she met you once, you were a friend, if she met you twice, you were family. There are truly not enough words to describe Becky and what she meant to those who met her. She left an impact on many, many hearts over her years on this earth. Becky is survived by her husband, John, daughter and son, Lindsey and Stephen Zambrano, step-daughter, Misty Ovington, brothers, Rick Golden and Ron Golden, many nieces and nephews and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Golden, brother, Dennis Golden and beloved furbaby, Baby.
