Marcus Valdez Obituary (1980

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother and friend Marcus Valdez on September 16th, 2023 at the age of 43. Born on July 19th, 1980 in San Antonio, Texas, Marcus filled our lives with love from the moment he came into the world. His vibrant, outgoing, and confident personality brought a fun and uplifting spirit to any room he walked into. He was the life of the party. As an accomplished makeup artist, Marcus brought beauty to the world around him. He has left a love mark on the souls of those he mentored, inspired, and made feel their absolute best. He will also be remembered for his love of music. Marcus' family knows he will be remembered most for his kindness, generosity, and the joy he brought to others. He truly had a heart of gold. Marcus is preceded by his mother, Aurora Aguilar, and his grandparents. He is survived by his sister, Adriene, and her husband Patrick; his nieces and nephews, Alexis and her husband Thomas, Marcus, Victoria and PJ, and his father Jesse Jr. In addition, his love remains with his dogs Draco and Bella and countless MAC family and friends. We all wish to thank all those for the outpouring of love during this difficult time. Your support has meant the world to us all. The funeral will be held at Midlothian Funeral Home on September 22, 2023 from 5pm - 8pm. All friends and family are welcome and appreciated. This visitation and non-traditional service will provide us a space together to celebrate Marcus. If you would like to send flowers, the family asks for yellow flowers, as these were Marcus' favorites.
