Linda Lott

–

Midlothian, TX

Linda Ann Lott, affectionately known as "Mema" by her cherished grandchildren, left this world on November 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 10, 1939, in picturesque St. George's, Bermuda, Linda’s life was a tapestry of ambition, dedication, and compassion. Her heart found its home in Midlothian, Texas, where she created a legacy of love and service over her 68 years of marriage to her beloved husband, Marshall Lott. As an active member of Oak Crest Baptist Church, Linda lived by the words, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others," a testament to her unwavering commitment to her church, family and community.

Linda's artistic spirit found expression in her beautifully decorated birthday cakes and other arts and crafts. Her creativity was as boundless as her thoughtfulness. Despite never seeking employment outside her home, Linda's ambitious nature shone brightly through her volunteer work at Manna House, Heaven’s Attic and Mission Midlothian, where she touched countless lives with her warm smile and open heart. She also regularly visited nursing homes, bringing comfort and companionship to those in need. Her life was a living embodiment of compassion, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Linda leaves behind her devoted husband, Marshall, and their loving children: Sandy Lott Gardner, Jo Ann Lane (Neil), Beverly Malke (Ed), and Jimmy Lott (Vanessa). Her legacy continues through her ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, who will forever hold "Mema" close in their hearts. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Clifford, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Winifred Clifford and her great-granddaughter Ellie Sophia Malke, Linda's spirit now joins theirs, her light never dimmed by her passing.

The Lott family extends heartfelt gratitude to all of Linda's caregivers who contributed to her comfort and care. Family, friends, and all whose lives were enriched by Linda are invited to share their memories and upload photos to her memorial page, ensuring her story lives on in the hearts she touched.
