Katherine Cooper

–

Midlothian, TX

Katherine Elaine Cooper, born on April 14, 1939, in Dallas, TX, was called to her heavenly home on October 6, 2026. Known for her supportive nature and thoughtful heart, Katherine was a beacon of love and courage to her family and community in Midlothian, TX, where she resided for the past nine years.

Katherine was a loving and dedicated wife to her late husband, John Cooper, whom she married on March 3, 1961. As a couple, they found joy in teaching Sunday school and she participated in the church choir, a testament to the importance of faith in Katherine's life. She was a courageous woman who ventured into the real estate business later in life, earning respect as a real estate agent at Century 21 Judge Fite until her retirement in 2009. Katherine, a lover of both old and new movies and game shows, found her greatest joy in her family, her most treasured achievement.

Katherine is survived by her children Terry Cooper and wife, Christy, Donna Clayton and husband Phil, and Julie Bonner and husband Bryan; her siblings Jerry Fullen; her grandchildren Tiana Jackson and husband Kyle, Colton Cooper and wife Jaylynn, Cody Schwartz and wife Madison , Austin Clayton, Thomas Bonner and wife Hannah, and Abigail Bonner; and her great-grandchildren Marlee Jackson, Benton Jackson, Wyatt Jackson, Gwyneviere Schwartz, Winnie Cooper, Sullivan Schwartz, and Hosanna Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Effie Fullen, her husband John Cooper, her grandson Justin Clayton and her brother Otto “Bud” Fullen.

As we remember Katherine, let us draw comfort from the scripture, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Katherine was a woman of steadfast faith, her concern for others' salvation evident even in her last days. She was a thoughtful, supportive, courageous, and loving woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Katherine on her memorial page. May these shared remembrances serve as a testament to her life and love.
