Joann Wolfe Yarbrough

Joann Mae Wolfe Yarbrough was born May 12, 1943 to Oscar C and Ruby Mae Wolfe in Hawthorne California. They traveled to Texas in 1943, when Joann was two months old. They made Irving, Texas their home for many years. Joann married her devoted and loving husband, Larry Yarbrough on October 14, 1966 - they would have been married for 53 years. Larry and Joann reared 4 children, Allen, Tommy, Saronda, and Ricky. Allen and Thomas are both deceased. Joann was a wonderful wife, a loving mother, a dedicated grandmother and a very proud great grandmother. Joann was a familiar face around town, while working at the P&S convenience store by the bank. Joann then went to college and became a certified dietitian and worked in the MISD cafeteria for several years. She had 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces, and nephews that she adored very much. What a celebration she is having with her loved ones that have gone before. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Larry Yarbrough, her brother Hollis Wolfe and wife Corrinne, Daughter Saronda Mae and husband Norris, Son Richard Wayne and his wife Mary Ann.
