Jimmy Dale Fleeman Sr.

Jimmy Dale Fleeman Sr., 67, of Ovilla, passed from this life on January 31, 2017 in Dallas. Celebration of life services will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church Midlothian with Lead Pastor, Bruce Prindle, officiating. Family will receive visitors from 9:00 am until service time at the church Jim was born on March 15, 1949 to Collin and Emma Cornish Fleeman in Monette, AR. He left Arkansas to move to Dallas and began his lifelong passion in construction. Jim met his beautiful wife, Sherry Chambers, in 1969 and they married February 22, 1970. Out of this union they had a daughter Kim (Fleeman) Ewton and a son, Jimmy Dale Fleeman, Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jinks Lynn Fleeman. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Fleeman, of 46 years, his daughter Kim Ewton and husband Tim of Ovilla, his son Jimmy Dale Jr. and wife Blaire of Midlothian. He is also survived by his grandchildren; better known as his "punkins" Taegan, Lanie and Blakely, and his "little buddies" Landon, Aidan and Dalton. He is also survived by his siblings Nancy Goodson and husband, Jim, of Lake City, AR, Pam Prichard of Des Arc, AR, Joe Fleeman of Red Oak, Eddie Fleeman and his wife, Judy, of Cedar Hill, and Shelia Masterson from Red Oak as well as many other family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Manna House 210 W Avenue F, Midlothian, TX 76065.
