Jamie Pauline Downey (Harden) Obituary (1937

Jamie Pauline Downey was born June 14, 1937 in Dalby Springs, Texas, to Robert L. & Wavie L. Harden. Jamie was one of five children. Jamie passed away peacefully in her sleep September 14, 2021, surrounded by her children at Methodist Hospital in Mansfield. Jamie is survived by her husband, Joe C. Downey of Midlothian, son Jerry and wife Lisa Bass of Grand Prairie, daughter Brenda and husband Robert Dillard of Midlothian, daughter Cindy Harp of Joshua, and daughter Kristy Tatum of Midlothian. She is also survived by one brother, Gaylon Harden of Amarillo. Jamie was preceded in death by one daughter, Rosetta Bass, both parents, one sister, and two brothers. Jamie loved sitting on the patio with her flowers, enjoyed country and western dancing with her husband, and most of all she loved her family. She was Granny / Nanny to nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, who all loved her dearly.
