Hollis Rex Hughes Obituary (1953

Hollis went home to be with our Lord and Savior on October 7, 2015. He was born September 23, 1953 to Lloyd and Imogene Hughes in Mt Pleasant, Texas. Hollis loved his family unconditionally. He loved traveling to the mountains, which is where his ashes will be spread. His hobbies were fishing and woodworking. Hollis is survived by his wife of 42 years, Crystal McKay Hughes, children, Brandy Hughes and fiance, Mike Chenault, Scott Hughes and wife, Shawn, grandchildren, Hannah, Alivia, Haley and Barnabas Hughes, mother, Imogene White, sisters, Nelda Banks and husband, Leonard, and Gerrie Morrow and husband, Timmy Dale, brother, Jacky Hughes, sister and brother-in-laws, Melanie and Robert Pritchett and Pam and Morgan Smith and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Hughes, brothers, Weldon, James and Lonnie Hughes and sisters, Deloris and Laquita Hughes. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Midlothian Funeral Home and services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County in Waxahachie, Texas.
