Gavin Lee Robbins died on January 2, 2017 in Dallas, TX at 2 years old. Gavin went to be an angel in heaven after a tragic accident occurred in Midlothian, TX. Gavin was born on August 25, 2014 at Methodist Charlton hospital. He is survived by his mother, Anna Marie Robbins and father, Sean David Robbins, siblings, Madeline Marie and Ethan David, grandparents, Mark and Jan Hawkins, uncle, Chris Hawkins, great-grandmother, Mary Hawkins, great aunt, Suzan Davidson and cousin, Gage Charles Davison. Grandparents, Scott and Monique Robbins, uncle Michael and aunt Valorie King (TaTa) and cousins, Kaylee, Ava, and Ady, uncle Chris and Aunt Cassie, aunt Gisela Robbins, cousins, Lilly, Laela and Luke and his favorite companion and dog, Jazz. He attended his loving school and childcare at The Palace Academy in Midlothian. Gavin and his family just moved to the home of their dreams in Ovilla, TX that has become a sanctuary and light for their family. Gavin was a special surprise for Sean and Anna that became the biggest blessing of their life. Throughout his creation it was discovered by Dr. Jorge Saldivar that Gavin would be born with a cleft lip, but through medical testing no one was able to determine the severity of his case. The moment he came out of the womb, we were elated to learn that our precious child had only his lip affected, which was an answer to so many prayers. The entire delivery room cried at the miracle of how healthy a baby he became. Gavin survived so many trials through surgery to repair his lip, and his story was followed by many around the world because of the miracle he was. Gavin was a bright light wherever he went and a lover of everyone. He could make everyone around him chuckle and belly laugh at any given moment. His pronunciation was admired and utterly adored. His gummy vitamins were one of many favorite things, including tractors, trains, bath time, summertime swimming and picnics, swinging at the park and his "good guy blankie." He was a rough and tough little boy and such a ladies man. Gavin said Hi to anyone that passed by and hugged anyone he met. Gavin had the charisma to turn a frown completely around. He had the aura of an angel on earth and everyone knew that about him. There is no comprehension how a boy becomes an angel twice, but Gavin has. Although nothing in our life is ever going to be the same, we pray; God please give us strength, wisdom and endurance to better carry this burden. We will always love and miss you, precious Gavin.
