Anita Louise Beard, born on September 9, 1937, in Dallas, Texas, peacefully departed this world on January 12, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of John Thomas Hall and Agnes Marie Welling.
Anita spent her formative years in Dallas, Texas, where she attended Roy Miller High School. Throughout her life, she wore many hats, starting with a soda shop and Sugar and Spice Catering. However, it was in nurturing others that she found her true calling, operating Anita's Daycare with love and compassion.
A proud member of the Elk Lodge, Anita found joy in community service and camaraderie. Her faith was an essential part of her life, and she was an active member of the Christian community.
Anita's hobbies included treasure hunting at garage and estate sales, singing with the Does, and doting on her grandchildren, a testament to her loving and caring nature. She married Herby Charles Beard on August 28, 1956, and they shared a lifetime of memories.
In her remarkable journey, Anita touched the lives of many. She is survived by her three children: Rick Beard (spouse Nancy Beard), Dody Wiggins (spouse Raymond Wiggins), and C.E. "Tater" Beard (spouse Teresa Beard). Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren: LeeAnn Ogden (spouse Geoffrey Ogden), Ty Beard (spouse Meagan Beard), Michaelyn Wiggins, Jake Wiggins, Austyn Snelus (spouse Austin Snelus), Emma Teubner (spouse Caleb Teubner), and Ivy Leigh Beard. The family extends their gratitude to The Midlothian Healthcare Center and the compassionate caregivers for their exceptional care.
